1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord."

Victory is mine, victory is mine, victory, today is mine.
Joy is mine, joy is mine, joy, today is mine. Peace is mine, peace is mine, peace, today is mine..... Hallelujah
Cuz, I will always remember your smile, your laugh, your fussing and your testimony! I will miss our closeness in such a short time. God allowed us to grow close for just a short season! We spent quality time with you and Marvin and I beleive we were brought together for one purpose. I am thankful for the moments we shared and forever grateful to my Lord and Saviour for his perfect will being done!
I will miss hearing your lovely voice.
Rest in peace my cousin, my sister and my friend! I love you but God loved you best.....

Cuz, you treated me more like a little sister than a cousin and I am forever grateful to you for that. I continue to look upon your photograph and smile and remember the talks we've had. The laughs & walks we shared. I remember all the stories you told me about my father Alonzo "Lump" Middlebrook, my grandfather Troy "Bailey" Middlebrook and my grandmother Eunice Bernice Middlebrook and all the things you all shared. I felt as if I was there with all of you. Meeting you was such a blessing to my soul! Bishop Houston and I speak of you quite often. Spending all that time with you in Zion, IL will not soon be forgotten.
Going to Steak N' Ale will never be the same...

My great-grand mother "Mama Lela"

For a long time I thought this lady would never leave me.
As a child and young adult - I thought she would live forever.
I also used to think that she was the only one in the world who loved me
She raised me
She prayed for me
She helped me raise my only son...
I miss her so much.......

I was not informed of this until July 23rd 2006 - when her mother called to let me know that Marqueshia died on the 17th of July.    When I got the call - I was "instructed" by Marqueshia's step father "NOT" to ask her mother what happened! So, my husband went online and found this article below......

My Dad Alonzo "Lump" and grandmother Eunice Bernice "Bailey"Middlebrook

Here I describe my Dad & grandmother.  I understand they both grew up in Tyler TX.  My father went to Emmett Scott High School..

(More info Coming Soon) I'll also write about where they worked and some of their interests. (once I find out)
Although, the last time I saw my dad was when I was about 4 or 5 years old - my Step-mom told me that when I did visit them - I talked a lot and loved hearing music.   Go figure  -  lol

According to her, he had various types of music. He loved listening to music, singing & travelling around the US.

Now, I know why I love to travel and love many types of music!

I am truly HIS daughter - lol

God took you both away - his perfect will-always!

People say that I resemble my father, and I did not remember him from my child hood.  All I remember is a White 65 T-Bird for some reason that I found out later - he actually owned one......... It is funny what you can and can not remember...

The young lady in the middle is my late brother Xavier Durand Middlebrook's(Los Angeles, CA) daughter, my niece Marqueshia James (who was murdered July 2006)
