Our Thanksgiving was blessed!  My son, husband and I had such a good time.
We had fellowship & prayed a lot........God is good
My cousin was cured of stage 4 Breast cancer! (sadly the cancer came back with a vengence and it over took her in her spine, thigh and bones.  So she was tired of the pain & the treatment - she wanted to go home and be with her Lord.  So, she told her husband to let her go.  She would go to rest on Jan 5, 2008)  Yes, God is a healer........but he also knows our destiny...Not our will Lord, but thy will be done.

Also met another cousin - Gwen
Found out that there is Cherokee indian in my family and that I had a great, great, great, great grandmother who happened to be Caucasion.... WOW

We are planning a family reunion for some or get acquainted for others.  lol

06/24/2006
I may have to hire a private detective to find other brothers and sisters of mine that may be out there.  The song "Papa was a rolling stone" comes to mind quite often when I receive more & more information regarding my biological father.  I do not mean that he was a person that would love and leave you but I mean that he was a free spirit and loved positive people, especially women.  lol.
It seems that my father had a soothing singing voice (that is where Angela & myself get our voices I imagine) and he used to travel with a band back in the 60's & 70's.  Many women were in love with him and his voice........so stay tuned........

05/17/2006
My husband and I finally met my sister Angela and her wonderful family!
Angela has such an angelic singing voice - I am so proud of her!
Her children are so cute & mannerable.
My brother-in-law is a professional builder and they are such good people!
Angela and I have so many similiar characteristics.
Both her husband & mine say that we look so much alike!
We have got to get to know one another better!

05/20/2006
I met my Aunt Christine & (her daughter) my first Cousin Linda and her husband Marvin - they are such down to earth people and fun to be around!  We had such a great time hanging out with them - even though it was for a short time - we are so looking forward to returning to TX (especially my husband - lol)

12/2/2005
Just found out that I have another sister (Angela) who still lives in Fort Worth, TX.
We have talked a few times today
She is so pretty!
She has one adorable daughter and two handsome sons - she is also happily married.
The Lord is really opening up doors and revealing things to all of us!

Plus, my Step Mom also told me that there may possibly be another brother approx in his 50's now living in Tyler, TX - she says that he may have been born while my father was at Emmett Scott High School..

****UPDATE
Found my Step-Mother & my Fathers whereabouts on July 11, 2005......
After 35 years of wondering - I finally got my answer...

Thank you for loving him and making him happy for all those years!

I pray that you and I have that Mother-Daughter relationship that I don't have and with my real Mother.  Maybe one day we all can get together

The possible nephew of my Aunt Christine in Fort Worth, TX and possibly the son of my Uncle Alfred Middlebrook.
*******UPDATE July 25, 2005
I have spoken to his wife but I do not think he is too receptive about being contacted, so I will leave him alone.

*******UPDATE Jan 21, 2008
From what I understand, this Wendell does not want to have anything to do with the Middlebrook family.  All I say is, it's HIS loss not mine....

Albert Johnson who possibly lives in Fort Worth TX or may have past on.  He is the Father of Della Galloway of Fort Worth who was born in Sept 1968.

I also understand that he has a niece named Barbara (Galloway) - who may either be in CA or TX.
